Depression

Finding out you have psoriasis and having to cope with the symptoms can cause a wide range of emotions including feeling upset, confused, angry and/or depressed.

Acknowledging your feelings and emotions and sharing these with your healthcare team, family and friends is the first step to dealing with these feelings.

You may find it helps to share your feelings with others who understand what you are going through and who may be able to offer useful practical advice and help. If so, your healthcare team will be able to put you in touch with support groups or a counsellor.
